What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, message and, if you provide it, company name. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and discuss potential assignments. Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries or on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not use contact enquiries for unsolicited marketing.
Service providers and security
The website and contact service use Microsoft Azure. Contact messages are delivered to Excelery’s inbox using Azure Communication Services Email. These providers process data as needed to host the website and deliver messages. Hosting providers may also process request metadata, such as IP addresses, for security and operation of their services. Any transfer outside the EU/EEA must use an applicable legal transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep unanswered enquiries for no longer than one month. Other correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry or customer relationship, or to meet legal obligations.
Spam protection
The contact service uses short-lived rate-limit counters, including a hashed client address, to prevent abuse. Counters expire after 24 hours and are removed by an hourly cleanup job. Contact messages and email addresses are not written to application logs by the contact handler.
Cookies and local storage
Your chosen language and theme are stored locally in your browser using local storage, rather than cookies. You can remove these preferences by clearing the website’s stored data in your browser. Your analytics consent choice is also stored locally in your browser. We ask again after 180 days.
Microsoft Clarity
With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity to analyse website usage. Clarity may use cookies and process pages visited, device information and interactions. We mask contact form content and do not send your enquiry details as analytics events. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. Depending on the circumstances, you may also request restriction of processing, object to processing or request data portability. Contact us through the website’s contact form to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
